While these types of issues don’t qualify for refunds, we’ll always do our best to make your stay smooth. After booking you will be asked to complete a check-in form. This form includes providing your name, birthday, photo ID, and signing rental lease agreement. All rentals include our full linen and towel package. Every bed will be made before you arrive, and each guest receives one bath towel along with fresh sheets and pillowcases. Please respect the home as if it were your own. An additional $500 excessive cleaning fee may apply if the property is left in unacceptable condition, such as requiring cleanup of vomit or urine. Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels that exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or that violate Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated. Personal Property & Items Left Behind Guests are responsible for removing all personal belongings prior to departure. Please check all closets, drawers, bathrooms, outdoor areas, and under beds before you leave. Ocean City Vacation Homes, its owners, employees, and agents assume no responsibility or liability for personal property left in the unit or on the premises after checkout, or for any loss, theft, or damage to such property. We do not guarantee that left-behind items will be found, retained, or returned. If an item is located, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you at the contact information on file. Perishable items, opened food, beverages, and toiletries are discarded immediately. Return shipping is available at the guest's expense and is subject to a handling fee in addition to actual shipping costs. - 2026-07-12T18:24:38Z · 5/5: Grandma’s house is a very cozy place. It’s in a great location, with easy-access parking, and there’s also plenty of street parking available right in front of the house. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bedrooms are spacious, and the pool is definitely a highlight—10/10! As a suggestion for improvement, I would have appreciated more comfortable pillows and bedding. We also found the laundry room door locked, so we weren’t able to use the washer and dryer. However, our stay was short, and we didn’t really need them. The host was always quick to respond, so I’m sure the issue would have been resolved if we had reached out. Overall, we had a great experience.
