SpringFest in Ocean City

No matter when you plan on visiting Ocean City, you’ll undoubtedly have a great time. There tons of fun things to do, great restaurants to visit, and amazing nightlife to enjoy in every month of the year. There are even several interesting educational places you can visit, such as the Ocean City Life Saving Station Museum.

But if you happen to be visiting during late April, you’re in for a treat, as you’ll be able to enjoy SpringFest in Ocean City.

What Is SpringFest in Ocean City Maryland?

SpringFest is the town of Ocean City’s annual celebration timed to coincide with the arrival of Spring. A four-day-long event that features music, food, activities, and shopping opportunities, SpringFest is popular with locals and out-of-town visitors alike.

This year (2025), the event is scheduled for Thursday, April 24th, Friday, April 25th, Saturday, April 26th, and Sunday, April 27th. The festivities kick off every day at 10:00 AM and go until 8:00 PM (except for the last day, which wraps up at 6:00 PM).

The event takes place at the Inlet Lot, right next to Ocean City’s iconic boardwalk. Parking can sometimes be tricky, so you may want to consider using the Coastal Highway Beach Bus or the Express Beach Bus Shuttle for transportation. These buses arrive and depart at various locations throughout the city every 20 to 30 minutes.

Admission to this family-friendly event is free, though some of the activities and musical acts do require you to pay or purchase tickets. Dogs are generally not permitted to attend the actual festival (except for service animals), however, dogs are allowed on the beach and boardwalk until April 30th.

SpringFest in Ocean City: Other Things to See and Do

There are also a few activities scheduled during the SpringFest that you may want to check out.

For example, there are two sea glass workshops scheduled for Sunday, with one happening from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM, and a second from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM. Tickets must be purchased in advance for either workshop. There’s also a sunrise yoga stretch, put on by SpringFest and Pure Yoga. The event is free, and it is scheduled for Sunday at 8:30 AM.
