Ocean Pines is where we go when we want the shore, minus the boardwalk.
Ten minutes over the bridge from Ocean City, but a different pace entirely, wooded lots, quiet canals off the Isle of Wight Bay, and homes with room for four bedrooms and a real kitchen. You still get Assateague's ponies and the OC beaches when the kids want them. You just come back to somewhere calmer.
